hey alsoff, ok, so 1 more time (check your other blog posts for igpx), found this from the link from the spanish version, and needless to say lostdata's site still isn't working...any idea how/why this is happening? and if the link after the jpegs is for the complete version, is that the same one as the link from your july 2009 post, or did you not update that link to reroute to the completed version? (since that link's version still locks up because it gives a pop-up message saying the necessary jpg isn't found)I really don't know what the problem with IGPX is. It seems to work under Windows XP and Flash and Shockwave 10. Newer versions of Flash may be giving it problems or it could be something with Intel Macs.
Failing that, someone would need to set up a virtual machine running Windows 98 or similar to ensure that all these Flash and Shockwave games can be played. This needs doing at some point anyway, since Flash isn't going to stay backwards-compatible forever.
Having said that, there is some sort of problem with 000webhost. When I try downloading backup ZIP files, they come out corrupted somehow. I know it's something to do with binary/ASCII files, but can't figure out how to fix it.
So to get around that, I'll just post a link to a mostly complete collection of files obtained from the Internet Archive and other sources:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=M31P6MRM
There are some games I haven't posted (Naruto) and some mp3s and images that can probably be found elsewhere.
I posted something similar before on the Toonami Fan board, but I was always planning to post a second, more complete version.
I found that using xampp in windows within it's original directory "{host root}/cartoonnetwork.com/", works well for IGPX. I wish I seen this link before I did a siterip.

I probably didn't post the link until after you ripped the site.
ReplyDeleteI know IGPX needs at least a directory containing the domain "cartoonnetwork.com"
Showdown in the Sky is much worse as it requires an actual domain and another for the 3d Groove libraries.
That's probably possible to fix with a HOSTS file or a proxy.
HI!... just a quick heads up guys, a rather annoying ad (Hosting 24) seem to pop up right over the loading screen of IGPX; preventing anybody to access the menu of the game and play with it. There is no way to "X" it out or close the annoying critter.... any help would be greatly appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
