So Much for Trapped in Hyperspace

I tried contacting Pepworks.de to see if they would send me a copy of Trapped in Hyperspace. No such luck. They only give copies to the customer. That would mean contacting someone from CartoonNetwork.com and obtaining it. That just doesn't seem very likely.

Oh, well.

  1. This is kinda off-topic for this particular post, but have you ever tried getting Batman Beyond: Evolution of Evil to work? On all of the archives, it loads, but then automatically goes to the demo, not allowing me to play.

  2. Funny, I thought it worked when I tried it in the Archive. Guess I'll retry it.

  3. The game doesn't require any external file as far as I can tell (which is appropriate given the timeframe in which it was created). Nor does it require a domain-check for security/copyright reasons.

I don't really know anything about Flash, but I think the game uses some outmoded technique/library and that's causing problems. (Or perhaps there was a change in all modern web browsers that causes a problem.)

I could try searching around to see if there are any other versions, but I don't know how successful that will be.

  4. I should also note that clicking *anywhere* causes the game to have problems. Minimize the browser and click on the desktop and the game will still complain. So, I suspect this is some sort of Flash Player problem.

I might have to mess around with an earlier version. Might take a while though.
